My husband and I went there for lunch today and we are so Glad we did!! The food was Amazing, our server was super sweet. We are so happy you don't have to be a member of the Country Club to eat there. Hidden Gem!! We can't wait to go back!
The place looked nice. Great view. Great decor. It wasn't overly loud. The food was pretty good. The servers were fantastic and professional.
Outstanding Event Coordinator (Kristen) and Staff. We were a sponsor for the Dress for Success Gala and the venue was beautiful with amazing views of the golf course, friendly staff, professional, great food, and excellent service. While setting up for the gala, seeing so many golfers on the course was nice.
Best place for fine dining date night in Bakersfield by far. We'll priced and perfect drinks.

Easter brunch was off the hook. The buffet was just incredible. Maybe the best prime rib in Bakersfield! I wish they'd bring back their Sunday brunch. Just one thing....don't add a 22% tip for the server who does very little.
I Called the Phoenix at Sundale a few weeks ago to inquire about a special birthday for my wife and 10 of her closest friends ! I was Lucky to be assisted by the banquet manager named Kristin , she assured me our group of 12 would be no problem on the upcoming Friday nights event . We all met up the really lovely bar area for a pre dinner cocktail , it’s a very comfortable nice bar area with a view of the golf course that added to ambiance for sure. excellent craft cocktails all around! We were seated after an unhurried time for the dinner segment to begin , service was provided by Mr Zackery our attentive server . He proceeded to take all the orders and got all served in a timely manner , kept all water glasses full took the drink orders etc. between us I think we a good sampling of the menu and it all looked great ! BTW not one complaint from this large group and that’s saying something now days ..... we highly recommend the dinner service at the Phoenix and will be going back ASAP . All in a very happy birthday for my beautiful wife. Thanks again Phoenix
